Welcome to BanterMap (“we”, “us”, “the site”), an entertainment web application operated at bantermap.lol. By accessing or using BanterMap you agree to these Terms.

BanterMap is a satirical, fun-first digital game. Nothing on this site represents actual sovereignty, political statement, or endorsement of any group. Country ownership is purely virtual and cosmetic.

1. What BanterMap is

You can pay a small amount ($1–$2 base) to display your handle, message and image on a country on our world map. Anyone can overthrow you by paying more; when they do, your entry moves to the “fallen kings” history and the new payer becomes the current holder.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA/UK).
• If under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
• You must have the legal right to use the payment method you provide.

3. Acceptable content

You are solely responsible for the handle, message, image and links you submit. You must not upload content that:

• Contains nudity, sexual content involving minors, gore, or violence.
• Impersonates a real person, brand or organization without permission.
• Promotes hate speech, targeted harassment, or illegal activity.
• Contains malware, phishing links, or scam offers.
• Infringes copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.

All submissions pass through automated profanity, bot and image moderation. We reserve the right to hide, remove or refuse any content at any time with or without notice, and to keep the payment as described in the Refund Policy.

Reporting

Any user can flag content by clicking “Report” on a country card. Content that receives five or more reports is auto-hidden pending review. Serious reports (illegal content, CSAM, credible threats) reach us fastest by email at bantermap@gmail.com.

4. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy Inc. (the merchant of record). Prices are shown in USD; your bank may apply currency conversion or surcharges. Because the “deed” is instant, digital and can be overthrown at any moment, purchases are generally final. See our Refund Policy for the specific cases we do refund.

5. Impersonation and third-party marks

Handles are user-supplied and are not verified. A “@handle” on BanterMap does not imply the real owner of that name endorses or controls the message. If someone is impersonating you or your brand, email us and we'll take action within 72 hours.

6. Ownership of your content

You keep ownership of everything you submit. By posting, you grant BanterMap a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display and cache your content for as long as the site operates or as needed to comply with legal obligations. You can request removal by email at any time.

7. Prohibited conduct

• Circumventing rate limits, bot checks or payment validation.
• Automated scraping beyond what our public sitemap permits.
• Reverse-engineering the API to submit payloads directly.
• Using BanterMap to distribute malware, phishing or spam.

8. Disclaimers

BanterMap is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, ranking position or that a conquest will remain visible for any specific duration.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to BanterMap is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is lower.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on the homepage and via the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of laws. Any disputes go first to good-faith negotiation over email. For anything: bantermap@gmail.com.
